Chiropractic is covered on a workers compensation claim, and our chiropractor is registered with SIRA to treat and invoice on one.
Chiropractic care is a recognised treatment under NSW workers compensation and CTP, the same as physiotherapy and exercise physiology. A chiropractor has to hold a current SIRA registration to treat and invoice on a claim, and comparatively few do.

Where chiropractic fits on a claim
Chiropractic sits alongside physiotherapy rather than instead of it. Which one leads depends on the injury and on what is limiting you.
Spinal injuries
Lower back and neck injuries from lifting, twisting or a fall are the commonest workers compensation claims there are, and the ones chiropractic is most often used for.
Whiplash after a motor accident
Neck pain and stiffness following a collision, treated under CTP. NSW guidelines favour early movement and a graded return to normal activity rather than rest.
Alongside physiotherapy
Many claims use both. Because the whole team works from one clinic and one set of notes, the two are coordinated rather than duplicated, and the insurer sees one plan.
Strength and conditioning
Dave is also a strength and conditioning coach, which matters at the end of a claim when the work is rebuilding capacity for a physical job rather than treating pain.
Why SIRA registration matters here
SIRA is the State Insurance Regulatory Authority, the body that oversees workers compensation and CTP in New South Wales. A practitioner without a current SIRA registration cannot treat you on a claim or invoice your insurer for it, whatever their AHPRA registration says.

Nothing on an accepted claim. We invoice your insurer at the rates SIRA publishes, the same as for physiotherapy, and there is no gap for you to pay.
